After restoration, pages yellowed by centuries show those details that were almost invisible before.
It is more complicated to intervene on modern works since good quality paper was produced at the beginning of printing, namely between the 15th and mid-16th centuries. In fact, it was high quality paper made of pure rag that had good durability.
